Sunday, September 29, in Baile 1 Mai, the event “Canta padurea” (“The forest sings”) takes place. The musical event takes place near the forest canton, with the free participation, according to the following program:
11:00 – Presentation of local culinary and artisan products; Children’s programs – traditional games and crafts workshops for children;
12:00 – Walk in the woods to the concert venue. The theme of the path: forest life, the importance of protecting forests – with forest engineers Puskás Lajos, Szabó Lajos, Faur Mircea & Hulea Cornel
13:00 – Concerts in the forest (the venue for the concerts is 800 m from the forest canton)
– Intermezzo Quartet of the Oradea State Philharmonic (Artistic Director: Vasile Foica)
– The festive program of the Oradea High School of Arts
– The “Bartók Béla” mixed choir from Békéscsaba (Conductor: Perlaki Attila)
– Orchestra Dűvő (Artistic conductor: Hrúz Dénes)
– Brass On the Road (Artistic conductor: Rack András)
16:00 – Walk back to the forest canton
If you decide to attend the event, here are some useful things to know:
– You can reach Baile 1 Mai from Oradea by bus 512, which starts from the Nufărul Bus Station each 30 minutes.
– AMD Bihor will make available to the participants a minibus of 19 persons, which will transport the spectators, free of charge, from the parking lot at the end of line 512 to the forest canton (1.4 km)
– Parking of personal cars will be done near the wave pool, from where there are 800 m to the forest canton
– From the forest canton where the restaurant terraces and children’s workshops will be, to the place where the concerts are held, the distance of 800 m will be covered only on foot
